Bemidji State has many transfer agreements with two-year colleges within and outside of Minnesota. Check out your options below, and contact us if you have any questions about the transferability of your courses if you don’t see an agreement specific to you.

Azhoogan: MN Tribal College Agreements

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ honors our relationship with northern Minnesota’s tribal and community colleges. Our Azhoogan (“the bridge”) program ensures a smooth transfer between schools and programs and includes admissions benefits.

To ensure students have a clear and supportive pathway from a tribal college to BSU, we have partnered with Red Lake Nation College, White Earth Tribal and Community College, Leech Lake Tribal College, and Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College to create dual-admission agreements and:

  • Clearly identify transferrable coursework
  • Waive the typical application fee
  • Provide early academic and student life advising
  • Provide a BSU-issued ID card and access to student engagement opportunities
  • Invite student participation prior to full enrollment at BSU.

These agreements are listed below, and include the transferrable course crosswalks for each tribal college.
